style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with a fresh, green recipe filled with the flavors of the season we\u2019re all dreaming of.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here it is: our <\/span><b>spell of light<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">our little <\/span><b>moment of positive magic<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">our very own <\/span><b>Boccaccio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mentions it in <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Decameron<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s a staple of central Italy, and over the centuries it has taken on countless forms<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(ours is simply the latest in a very long line).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At its heart, though, the recipe couldn\u2019t be simpler:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">soak stale bread, season it, and toss it with fresh garden vegetables.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was born as a humble farmer\u2019s dish,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a clever way not to waste bread \u2014<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and turned into a timeless Italian classic.<\/span><\/p><p><span
