It led her to open her first space in Florence and launch what quickly became a successful business.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She found her <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ikigai<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 her \u201cgood reason to wake up in the morning\u201d \u2014 in a field she had never imagined: the kitchen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI couldn\u2019t even fry an egg back then\u2026 and honestly, not much has changed.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I had no one to look up to, it was all completely new \u2014 but pretty soon I realized this was my job.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She discovered her creative side \u2014 a natural talent for communication, organization, and event design \u2014 and people loved it.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was a small revelation; she had never seen herself that way.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second surprise? She loved it. Absolutely.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leila comes from a multicultural family, and maybe that\u2019s why she doesn\u2019t see borders or limits in her relationships.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She loves to host parties, bring people together, work with others from around the world, and make friends with those who are nothing like her.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite \u2014 or perhaps because of \u2014 this whirlwind of people and connections, her most important trips are always solo. Patagonia, Chile, Cuba \u2014 just to name a few.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traveling alone forces you to open up to the world, to question yourself, to leave your comfort zone and face the unknown with courage.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking of comfort zones, joining <\/span><b>Kitchen Wishes<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was exactly one of those moments when she left hers completely behind.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After 12 years in a job she loved, she felt the need for something new \u2014 not a calculated choice, but a pull.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kitchen Wishes appeared like a new planet waiting to be explored. And as a true traveler, she couldn\u2019t say no.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After years in Florence\u2019s catering scene, she had already heard of Giulia and Elena \u2014 and they had heard of her.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They met by chance at a bar counter (a great place, by the way, to start new adventures). They looked at each other and laughed.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe first thing they told me was, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018We know who you are \u2014 you\u2019re the competition!\u2019<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We started talking that same night, and from there came the idea of doing something together.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I soon realized there was room on their team for someone like me, with my particular skills.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Listening to them, one sentence appeared clearly in my mind: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2018That\u2019s me!\u2019<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She\u2019s also a huge David Bowie fan \u2014 and she was struck by one of Giulia\u2019s recipes, posted on the blog as a tribute to the passing of the Thin White Duke.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The stars, it seems, were already aligned. They just needed a little push.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leila became what she calls \u201cthe missing link\u201d \u2014 an unexpected bridge between Giulia, Elena, and the world outside, both real and digital.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She\u2019s now the <\/span><b>head of service<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, contributing her ideas and handling the organizational and social aspects.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She does her best to free Giulia and Elena from the daily logistics, so they can focus on what they do best \u2014 playing with food, creativity, invention.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, she keeps learning from them \u2014 new lessons, new planets, new sensations. The exchange never stops.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The result is an all-female trio where, as in the best collaborations, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That egg?
